Social Matchbox is where East Coast entrepreneurs and startup professionals congregate, launch, stay informed, get hired and connect. Participants include the who’s who of the startup community including company founders, developers, product managers, investors and others involved in product-oriented business ventures.

Since the first event held at TeqCorner in Tyson’s Corner, VA, the Social Matchbox community has grown in membership and strength. Social Matchbox academic partners include the American University Kogod School of Business, the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland, College Park, and the Computer Science Department at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Social Matchbox community partners include Refresh DC, Refresh Bmore, DCTechEvents, Jobmatchbox, the DC Ruby on Rails User Group as well as many other groups that count startup people among their ranks on the East Coast.

Social Matchbox signature events are held quarterly. Invitation-only VIP events occur monthly.
