Information Technology Professional and Writer

My goal is to become the chief technology executive for a small, technologically advanced, socially responsible organization. To this end I bring years of experience as a consulting software architect, corporate information systems developer, technical sales specialist, writer, conference speaker, and independent software developer.
In addition to monetary compensation and other benefits, my reward comes from the knowledge that I gain as I learn new tools and techniques, from the personal relationships I develop with my colleagues and customers, and from the satisfaction I get by contributing to the improvement of our society and the world.
I am very interested in open source software and methodologies, virtualization and cloud computing, and emerging internet standards. I have specific experience in virtualization, Linux (desktop and data center), XML and related technologies, C# and .NET, Java, and relational database design.
