I also spear-headed an effort to monetize the Collegiate Times online edition taking online revenue from less than $500 a year to almost $20,000.

    During my time at the Collegiate Times I was also given the opportunity to serve as the Vice President of the Educational Media Company at Virginia Tech (EMCVT) Board of Directors. The board was tasked with overseeing the entire companys financial success (EMCVT consisted of the yearbook, newspaper, TV station, radio station, literary magazine and a photo division). As a member of the board I also served on various committees such as the Investment Committee which was responsible for ensuring the long term financial success of EMCVT.
