During my spare time I enjoy organising social and professional events for the web industry.
I was one of three organisers for the successful BarCamp London 2 which was held in February 2007. http://barcamp.org/BarCampLondon2
I also set up the Oxford Geek Nights and organised the first three events, each attracting over 120 people:

* http://oxford.geeknights.net/2007/april-11th/
* http://oxford.geeknights.net/2007/july-25th/
Oxford Geek Nights are events that provide an opportunity for web developers and designers in and around Oxford to get meet, share their skills and talk about new ideas, techniques and technologies.
I also set up the Oxford geek community site http://oxfordgeeks.net/ in association with Simon Willison. I was responsible for the specification, design and front-end development of the site.
