Currently I am consulting on a library automation report for a UN library. In the recent past I have worked in consulting and advising on digital repositories and document preservation. More generally I have been involved with information science technology for more than two decades in senior positions in support, training and business development in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for Dynix, SirsiDynix and Ex Libris; before that, I worked in library technical services for both academic and local government organisations.
