Remember the days when you took the family to a photography studio? Stuffy dark backgrounds and posing...? This is all old stuff...

My clients get from me the most important gift for a photography session: TIME.
I don't do "quickshoots", I try to get to know my clients, regardless if they are 2 years old, or 20, or 62?

After a coffee, my clients (and their children) feel much more relaxed. They had the chance to get to know me and I had the opportunity to find out about them. I try to capture the essence in a person, the natural look. I don't say "Smile please", but we just go for a walk and enjoy nature. My clients have fun with their family and enjoy themselves and I go with them, be part of this. And because I am within the group I can capture stunning images of mum & daughter or father & son as they are having fun, chasing along the beach or picking flowers in the meadows.

The images created during such a photography session are truly magical. Not only during a day at the beach, we experience things that make us remember that particular day. But also the scenery means something to us, we remember when "we used to go the beach" or "we used to go to the park".

Often when I edit images for my clients I wish that I had photographs just like them of my childhood. I don't have a single image with me and my grandad, for example. Photographs are so important when families grow up as they portray their life. Memories captured forever in stunning photographs.
