Nadejda Loumbeva’s Summary

10 years of experience working, studying and living in international environments (in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Italy, and Bulgaria). Avid traveller.

I have worked in organisational learning and knowledge sharing, i.e., in putting together knowledge strategies, knowledge networks, communities of practice, electronic communities (design, setup, facilitation), as well as in community facilitation, change management, project coordination and project management, organisational development, social entrepreneurship, business planning, and corporate social responsibility.

Mostly, I have worked in how information and communication technologies and Web 2.0 tools can support and optimise knowledge sharing and knowledge management in a variety of often geographically-distributed contexts across the following sectors and areas of business:
sectors: UN, International NGO, public company;
areas of business: natural environment preservation and development, retail banking, crime and illegal drugs prevention, food and agriculture.

My focus has always been organisational transformation, so that what an organisation does is better from the point of view of responsibility, sustainability and effectiveness. I am very interested in how organisational learning and knowledge sharing can transform organisations and society.

At a theoretical level, I have looked into how business ethics can be mainstreamed in organisational culture through an organisational learning and knowledge management approach. You can see this work here:
