I am the owner of MySearchGuru, a web marketing and organic search engine optimization firm that increases a web site's visibility in the search engines. Our techniques include doing targeted keyword research, meta tag development, social media optimization (SMO), submission to all relevant search engines and directories, inbound links, and ghost blogging. We have been doing organic SEO since 1999.

I have several of blogs, and have been an active blogger since 2002. My archaeology blog was written up in Archaeology Magazine. I am the Meetup.com organizer in San Diego for the SEO Meetup, and the Social Media Marketing Meetup, and the Assistant Organizer for the San Diego Small Business and Entrepreneurs Meetups.

I have a Masters in Library Science and was a reference librarian for over 12 years. I am now a cybrarian, and help others find information on the Web.

I also run several archaeology discussion lists and have been on the Net since 1994, and the Web since 1996. I was awarded the Society for Historical Archaeology's Award of Merit in 2002 for my pioneering work in getting archaeologists online.

I have just started the first social network for archaeologists at Ning.com, http://archaeoseek.ning.com and have over 400 people there.
