Through a curriculum,personal player testimonies &professional services, the immediate & long-term needs of the aspiring & current professional athlete will be addressed.The Playbook’s formula is “positive personal life = professional success”.
'07 MWPR│Presents launched “6 Degrees:One Contact Away from Success” networking event.SD creates a natural exchange in a free & non-competitive & intimate environment for people to connect & share ideas. The quarterly gathering is supported by strategic partners interested in exposing their brand to intermediaries whose contact & contacts’ contacts could be their next oppty for success.
'06 MWPR joined Baltimore-based financial mgmt firm,Visionary Financial Strategies, Inc. VFS brought its capabilities offering a complete package of services to professional athletes addressing professional/personal identity & financial management/literacy needs. Thus,OFF-THE-FIELD BRANDING™ Professional│Personal Management was created, a subsidiary of both firms.
'05 MWPR formed a new business service to address specific “off-the-field” needs of professional athletes that often go unnoticed.OFF-THE-FIELD served to effectively generate awareness of an athlete’s foundation, provide counsel in identifying partnerships w/corporations & non-profits,manage crisis situations & conduct media & message training; in an effort to establish, extend & enhance an athlete’s overall brand.

I also played a key role in the development of Golin/Harris’ Diversity Specialty Practice and has extensive experience in reaching the African American market through earned and paid media relations efforts.

As director of promotions and charities for the AFRO, I developed and executed promotions and marketing campaigns highlighting the AFRO’s rich history within the African American community to its readers as well as the general market. In December 1997, Presstime Magazine recognized me in their annual special edition as one of "20 Under 40". This national recognition highlights the accomplishments and contributions made by 20 professionals under the age of 40 to the newspaper industry. As promotions director, I created, produced and hosted the AFRO’s weekly public affairs talk show then called “AFRO Tuesday Edition” on Morgan State University’s radio station WEAA 88.9 FM. April 2006, I returned as host of the weekly radio show until relocating to Charlotte, NC in January 2007.
