I make a lot of things on the Internet. I love mashing anything up to see what happens. The organization and presentation of information is the world's new pursuit, so I do what I can to put together nifty projects for business and pleasure. You can see some of my work by following the link to my design portfolio below.

I'm leading the migration of the organization's website to the Joomla! platform, working with a staff team and an outside development firm to move hundreds of HTML pages to the open source content management system. Also: online advocacy, email and web content, AdWords marketing, and new media outreach.

(Non-Profit; 11-50 employees; Political Organization industry)
May 2004 — July 2007 (3 years 3 months)
I helped create online advocacy campaigns for 100,000 activists, including web content and email and strategy. I also managed the blog, newsletter, and podcasts of "Workin' It" on Air America Radio, later "The Jackie Guerra Show" on Jones Radio Networks. From May 2004 til May 2006 I worked in this position as a part-time consultant.
(Non-Profit; 1-10 employees; Political Organization industry)
July 2004 — November 2004 (5 months)
CollegeLabs.org was a project of Music for America to organize student voters in the the 2004 election. I advised campus organizers and the project coordinators on online organizing and student media outreach. During this time I helped launch NoIraqDraft.com, an interactive petition against a draft for the war in Iraq.
(Non-Profit; 51-200 employees; Political Organization industry)
March 2003 — February 2004 (1 year)
I created Students for Dean, a nation-wide organization of students supporting Howard Dean for President. I bought studentsfordean.org, built a simple website, and within 4 weeks had connected 50 campus groups to organize for Dean.
With the combined efforts of Yoni Cohen and Ryan Beam, we attracted the attention of the campaign and an invitation to make Students for Dean the official youth organizing effort. Generation Dean was born in the summer of 2003 under the leadership of Amanda Michel; I worked full time from my dorm room in between classes, organizing our online and offline communications and managing a team of bloggers.
When the race ended in March 2004, we organized more than 23,000 students and 1,200 groups to support Howard Dean for President - at that time, the biggest youth organizing effort by a presidential campaign..
