The system is based on dataflow (it implements a restricted form of Kahn process network) and allows for vertical, horizontal, and pipeline parallelism without requiring the developer to utilize any of Java's concurrency features. Took requirements from customers, interacted with user services, worked both alone and with other developers, presented my projects to my group, and gave technical advice and recommendations to my superiors. This job was of great practical value, giving me the chance to become familiar a variety of open source technologies and software engineering practices.
