I have been introduced to a variety of corporate communications and public relations experiences through both school and work. These include but are not limited to media relations, event management, web publishing, graphic design, copy editing, public relations writing and project management. I am a student member of Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) of Toronto and an associate of the York University Public Relations, Communication Studies Student Association (CSSA).
I have taken on summer student positions with various corporations and have learned a lot along the way. I have currently entered the corporate communications and public relations market as a Marketing Communications Coordinator for Cuisinart & Waring Pro Canada and am looking forward to learning as much as I can.
I have excellent organizational skills which makes me a great event coordinator. I've also had the opportunity to create and carry out several events from start to end. My other areas of expertise include web design & layout, media relations and internal communications.
