Game Physics and Animation Programmer
Paris Area, France
I am a senior level programmer with a strong experience in physics and animation. Accross the years, I have worked on PC and console (PS2, Xbox, PS3...) games alike, on AAA and "no-so-AAA" titles, always with the same passion and dedication for the team and for the game ^_^
I am a passionate hardworking programmer, always eager to learn - and share - something new everyday. I learned to work around strong code constraints (legacy code base, middlewares, beta devkits and sdks, tight schedules and milestones...) in order to remain as efficient and creative as possible, and serve the game design as best as I could.
To cut a long story short, I have a very good education base (master degree in computer science), completed with a strong professional experience both in my own country and abroad (I worked 3 years in UK). I learned there ot work within an international team for the biggest publishers (EA, Sony...).
I am currently working for the award winning studio Quantic Dream in Paris, as a senior animation programmer. I have redesigned and rewrote the animation engine (low level code, gameplay level code, scripting interface, Maya exporter) for their next PS3 title, Heavy Rain...
Finally, when I am not programming, reading a paper or trying to understand a clever trick in "Hacker's Delight", I also have a blog (in French) ^_^
Game Engines and Pipelines, C, C++, C#, Consoles programming (PS3, PS2, Xbox), Standard and procedural animation, Collision detection, Rigid body physics, Havok 2.1, Havok 3.1, gameplay programming, and much much more...
