Gregory Mullen's prowess is in the sales process, from top to bottom. His experience speaks for itself in terms of prospecting, new business development, customer satisfaction and team building. He has been characterized as self-motivated, a team player, a leader, a problem solver and an agent for change.
Gregory joined Common Sense Advisory in May 2006. His focus is on clients: securing access and membership to Common Sense Advisory’s Research, communicating client needs internally and serving as a liaison between clients and the analysts.
Gregory graduated the University of Richmond in Virginia with degrees in Economics and Leadership Studies. Upon graduation, he eschewed the ‘real world’ for the World and served as a Business Development Volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps. Stationed in Ukraine for three years, Gregory reveled in the autonomy and chosen poverty of a Peace Corps Volunteer. He lectured at the Kryvyi Rih Economic Institute and was instrumental in the development of the national NGO, YouthCAN. He is most proud of founding the first, sustainable university bookstore, Pan Pidruchnik – which he transitioned to the authority of students and administrators.
Gregory’s golf game is in great need of improvement. He enjoys lacrosse, fishing, tennis and fencing. He speaks Russian.

I was involved in a number of things while a PCV in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine.
The accomplishment of which I am most proud was the creation of a self-sustaining bookstore at the Kryvyi Rih Economic University. Through our Buy-Back and Extended Loan programs, the bookstore provided textbooks for students who otherwise would have gone without them.
Not far behind was my involvement with the nationwide NGO "Youth CAN." I was honored to work with so many inspired (and inspiring) young Ukrainians. The programs offer training on many subjects including Project and Change Management, Leadership, Civics, and then tasks participants to return to their communities and implement a positive change in their community. Youth CAN continually trains and consults the participants on these projects. Check out www.ycan.org for more details.
My "day job" was as a Lecturer in the Faculty of International Economics & Law at the Krivoy Rog Economic Institute (Kiev National Economic University).
