Information Technology Director at Leo A Daly
Houston, Texas Area
I am a successful global IT Management Professional for the past 12 years. I am results driven, strategic and innovative solutions provider with a proven track record. My core strengths are people, project and budget management. My vision is to proactively provide IT tools and services as catalytic assets, to all facets of business. Over the years I have provided innovative solutions to meet business challenges and dramatically improve productivity, at costs competitors can only envy.
I am the IT Director for Leo A Daly, one of the largest planning, architecture, engineering, interior design, and program management firms in the world. I started off my career here as the IT Director of Leo A Daly's wholly-owned subsidiary, Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc., since February, 2009. In this short period, I have provided quality leadership to IT, improved network infrastructure, aligned IT as a major catalyst to business, and established working relationships with the Management and various Business Groups and Profit Centers. I am evaluating creative solutions to improve the productivity of the different Business Groups and successfully deploying them.
Previously, I managed Hercules Offshore's international IT infrastructure, including Servers, Applications and support. Unfortunately, the economic downturn didn’t give me even a decent time-frame to deploy quality IT solutions and Backoffice operations over there.
Prior to Hercules Offshore, I managed Vinmar International's global IT infrastructure, ranging from the data center in Houston to those in the regional and branch offices, in 16 countries around the world. My accomplishments ranged from Network Security, Disaster Recovery, IP Telephony, Enterprise Active Directory, Blackberry Enterprise services, Enterprise Database Management, SAP implementation and others. I worked pretty independently without supervision and reported directly to the Chairman and CFO of the company.
