Worked in the development team of the Software Development Workbench (SDW). Ported the existing DOS-application to UNIX with OSF/Motif. After that I was the Technical Architect for a new version called SDW Elements, running on Windows 95. Development all done in C/C++.

I joined the Research Department of Volmac ("Vleermuis") to work on the development of a 4GL environment ("VTM") running on Windows, Various UNIX platforms, OS/2 and OS/400. In this project it was all about implement everything in a modular way that wasn't there yet, including database drivers, screen drivers, a reporting system, pre-compilers, CORBA implementations, IPC systems, etceteras. All development in C with COBOL as application platform for the 4GL tool.
