Marissa Ronca is currently the director of program development for Court / truTV. In this position, Ronca is charged with the development of new prime time non-fiction series that help expand the Court TV brand beyond exclusively crime and justice programming. Before coming to Court TV, Ronca was director of development at TLC and Discovery Home Channel where she was responsible for cultivating original programming for daytime and prime time series and specials. In this position she developed the successful series Little People, Big World and LA Ink. She is also credited with developing TLC’s first broadband series, Makeover Train.
Ronca’s documentary film work includes serving as Executive Producer on Crazy Sexy Cancer and Prussian Blue. She also produced the 2006 independent scripted feature film The Guatemalan Handshake.
