I was an assistant cameraman for several Swedish feature films. The biggest project was the movie "Sverige åt Svenskarna" by the Swedish director/actor Per Oscarsson, where I served as assistant cameraman and editor.
I also worked as a freelance news cameraman for the Swedish National Television. A very rewarding time, I covered major news stories like Lech Walesa's uprising in Poland and the war between Iran and Iraq in 1980. Here I started using professional video instead of the 16 and 35 mm film that I used before, enjoying the speed and flexibility of video. I also workd for the American ABC Nes during the submarine hunt in Hårsfjärden and made several documentaries for the Swedish Television.
