I work at the intersection of Process, Data, and Information. Better information through more reliable data produced by more effective and consistent processes--that's my goal.

I like the McGyver approach--we have what we need, let's get going. Mostly what we need is better relationships with the people around us. To that end, I facilitate, interpret, translate and broker the relationships need to get things started if not done. I speak programmer, software engineer, DBA, modeler, data administrator, manager and CIO with a smattering of several business dialects. I'd love to facilitate for you.

I have applied many technologies but have not allowed the technologies to intrude into the work lives of the information consumers. Technology is the tool--not the solution.
