I am an Associate Professor of Strategy at the Harvard Business School. My research covers competition in social industries, and development of social strategies. I am currently teaching a second year elective course entitled Competing with Social Networks, which includes cases on LinkedIn, Facebook, MySpace, eHarmony, MeetUp,Yelp, and Wikipedia. I am also a Managing Director at Market Platform Dynamics where I lead the Social Strategy practice and consult to firms in the financial services industry.
