Martín Pérez’s Summary

I have been working on IT industry for about 8 years right now. During these years I have been heavily working on Java and J2EE worlds.

Currently I'm living in Dublin working as software architect for a leading company in the foreign exchange (FX) market.

I have also deep experience on healthcare based environments, as I have been working on a hospital during more than five years. On that time, I created and architected the costs management software system for the hospital also promoted to all the province level. However, the last year I have been working in the financial sector as an architect developing and designing foreign exchange software applications.

Most of my work have been done under J2EE, Informix and WebSphere 5.x based systems, but I'm now getting deeply involved with Weblogic 9.x platform, deployment, configuration and development. I have also experience developing with many different APis, IDEs and databases.

During many years also I was envolved on javahispano (http://www.javahispano.org) community, where I wrote many articles, tutorials, news, and interviews to several personalities of the Java world. I also had the opportunity to represent this community giving many different speechs on several events around Spain.

On the last years I also was leading the development of jLibrary (http://jlibrary.sourceforge.net), an Open Source document management system recognized with several award nominations.
