After working in hospitals, rehab centers, pediatric therapy centers, and community settings as an Occupational Therapist, I started my senior move management business in 2001. We prevent Relocation Stress Syndrome in the seniors we serve by evaluating their individual needs and then helping them move efficiently through the entire process of planning, downsizing, preparing the home for sale or rental, moving, and setting up their new environment. We often assist their families by recommending and encouraging best use of their time to help their parents through this transition. Providing the professional buffer that may be needed in emotional family interactions that can accompany this process, is another benefit we offer. Because of my therapy background, I specialize in safety and accessibility especially for those requiring adaptive equipment for maximum independence.
We have licensed builders on staff to perform handyman jobs required, and a can-do attitude prevails. No job is too small or too complicated. If we cannot do what is required ourselves, we have an extensive resource network and will assist our clients in finding exactly what they need in a timely manner.
