I have about 16 plus years of social service and mental health experience. I have worked with all age groups and various populations such as children, adolescents, adults, individuals, couples, families and groups in-home, school, vocational, psychiatric and one-on-one settings. I have experience working with individuals, and families affected by HIV/Aids, sexual abuse, child abuse and trauma, drug addiction/abuse, homelessness, and domestic violence. I have extensive experience with immigration issues, foster care and adoption. I have also worked with sex offenders, and adults/adolescents on probation.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I currently run a private practice in West Hollywood/Los Angeles for individuals, couples and groups specializing in Sex Therapy and Counseling.
I have a background in music (piano and guitar) and have utilized art, music and other experiential/creative arts components in collaboration with treatment.
I have experience playing/performing and writing music as well.
I specialize in alternative lifestyles (LGBT) and variations in sexual expression.
