I am a writer, artist, and social media consultant, known as 'mousewords.' As a person with clearly defined dreams and a measure of stubbornness, I have been an independent business owner throughout my career.
As an artist, I specialize in illustration, such as for graphic novels, children's books, and cartoons. My original artwork hangs in collections all over the world. I am also interested in graphic art, and have done freelance logo design. I am actively involved in nonprofit fundraising through the arts, with organizations such as Blood:Water Mission and Art for Critters.
As a writer, I am currently working on a contemporary mystery novel, which is a collaboration with my sister, Stacy J-M Taylor. Through my blog, 'mousewords,' my goal is to inspire others to believe in their dreams and abilities. I also contribute freelance articles to other blogs and publications.
As a consultant, I am deeply interested in the business and interpersonal aspects of social media, with a focus on educating traditional businesses about the benefits of using online resources in addition to real-world promotion. I am happy to serve as Social Media Consultant and Art Director at Share2Grow.
In other news, I have experience in web design, sales, and business management.
A few years ago, together with my family, I survived chronic carbon monoxide poisoning. Since then, I have strived to work through the resulting neurological damage and rebuild my career, while using my skills to raise awareness for this little-known danger.
I look forward to the upcoming publication of my novel, and to the continued exploration of fields that I find fascinating. My goal is to press forward to achieve my dreams, while helping others to do the same.
