Jon F Moss’s Summary

Jon works primarily in the area of employee benefits (core, supplemental and non-traditional) with a special emphasis on working with employers to develop and implement Consumer Driven Health Care (CDHC) options which may include Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).

He is currently working on his Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation (CEBS) through the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS) and the Wharton School-University of Pennsylvania. Among other professional organizations that he has been a member of are the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), and Toastmasters International.

Jon’s 15-year career in the insurance industry began with Strategic Planning Associates in Miami, Florida back in 1993 where he played an integral role in building an insurance agency from the ground up with the two former MetLife agents. In 2001, Jon formed Q-Biz Solutions, opened offices in Naples and Sunrise, Florida, and built a successful group benefits agency that carved a niche in the area of voluntary benefits enrollment acting as an exclusive enrollment firm for Allstate Financial for the entire State of Florida.

In October, 2007 the firm changed it's name to Moss Benefits Group to better reflect the relational connection with it's clients. At the same time, Moss Benefits Group and Jon selected Chattanooga, Tennessee as the site for company's next branch office location.

Currently, Jon devotes his time to both the Chattanooga & South Florida offices working with clients, and forging new relationships with employers of all sizes looking to improve their company's ability to attract and retain talented employees.
