Monty is a technical sales professional and entrepreneur with more than 18 years of technology management, technical sales, and business development experience. His career has spanned such diverse industries as A/E, consulting, software, retail, and advertising.
Currently, Monty is a Sales Director leading a sales team that provides unified communication solutions to AT&T largest customer across the Midwest and West Coast.
In 2005/06 Monty led the turnaround planning and execution for a Texas-based technology consulting firm. The company needed to transition to a hyper-growth partner to Dell and Gateway. Monty worked with the employees, executives and stakeholders to craft a strategic business plan and create the processes to sustain the growth model. As a management consultant, Monty has coached CEO’s, managed turnaround projects, and developed several funded business plans.
In 2001 Monty founded Faith Harbor LLC a retail holding company that acquired and developed Christian retail stores in Chicago. Prior to Faith Harbor, Monty was a key contributor/stakeholder of Evity, a start-up technology company that created SiteAngel, an innovative website testing/monitoring application. Monty served as Sales Director and was responsible for creating the sales program that created immediate revenue and secured dozens of marquee accounts.
BMC Software acquired Evity for $100M in April 2000. Monty was instrumental in the integration of SiteAngel into the BMC product sales and marketing programs. Once integration was completed, Monty led the channel development program for SiteAngel at BMC until 2001.
Prior to Evity, Monty served as Regional Sales Manager at Wall Data. He leveraged his deep technical knowledge to help Fortune 500 organizations employ Wall Data solutions.
