Monkeypups Organic Dog Bakery’s Summary

Monkeypups is an eco-friendly dog bakery specializing in organic treats for dogs. We have biscuits (both hard and soft) and fruit and vegetable chews (a healthy aternative to conventional rawhide chews). We have a full line of ever-expanding flavors and shapes, as well as a line of Special Needs treats for dogs that have certain health issues. All of our treats are baked fresh to order and hand-packaged with love and care.

We have been making our own dog food and treats for years. Work in the pet industry (veterinary, retail, training) as well as being active in the dog community (showing dogs, teaching obedience classes, lecturing on dog-related topics, participating in dog therapy) for over 18 years has given us unique insight into what dog owners want and what dogs need.

We implement eco-friendly practices in our bakery, such as using environmentally-friendly cleaners and taking a minimalist approach to packaging so as not to contribute to the nation's already overcrowded landfills. We support local organic farming and support dog rescue organizations both locally and nationwide.

Our goal is continue to provide a quality product that dogs love and dog owners can feel good about giving to their pets.

Our specialty is Special Needs dogs. Working in the veterinary industry opened our eyes to the myriad of health problems that can stem from an improper diet. We proudly make treats that are suitable for dogs who otherwise would be left out of the treat market. We also take special requests, creating treats for dogs who have not been able to tolerate commerically-made treats or simply cannot find what they are looking for.
