I started as a news assistant in Phoenix, AZ at The Arizona Republic, Arizona’s largest daily newspaper. Though I started my career as a News Assistant, I was soon writing news stories that were published weekly.
Concurrently I took an internship that later turned into a producing position at the local NBC affiliate – KPNX. I later branched to L.A. where I took a leap of faith with an unpaid internship with NBC UNIVERSAL.
I hosted 2 fitness segments the KNBC show YOURLA, providing the show with their first #1 spot in 6 months. I reported from the KNBC news desk and helped produce the first bilingual segment that aired on digital channel 4.4.
Late 2007 I was 1 of 25 contestants on the trivia based game show, “DUEL,” which aired on ABC. Six months later, I shot a 20 minute infomercial for Everlast Workout Equipment, which aired June 2008.
I served briefly as a production assistant on the nationally aired reality show, Hells Kitchen and freelanced for the Orange County Register in California and SWEAT magazine in Arizona.
July of 2008 I hosted my own show, Top Affiliate Challenge, which continues to air on the website, www.topaffiliatechallenge.com. Later that year I was the featured talent for an automotive informercial which aired in the Bay Area.
All of this lead me to a career in marketing and public relations. I am now the Assistant Marketing Director for Southern California's largest asphalt paving company, Ben's Asphalt.
I finished my undergraduate degree at Arizona State Univesity in 2009 in Interdisciplinary Studies.
