Social Media & Crowdsourcing Evangelist - Speaker & Writer
Vancouver, Canada Area
I'm a writer and social media consultant/evangelist (see links for more information about me). Hey, I love social media. (See my Me Like the Interweb Blog)
I have to say that I'm not thrilled with how Linkedin presents the profile info as it makes me appear as though I am a "Jack of All Trades" - but master of none - which is simply not the case. I was an actor for 13 years while working other jobs and writing on the side. I self-educate continually, and have always loved psychology, advertising & marketing.
I discovered that I wanted more (more control, more mental stimulation, a career that had less-focus on looking like a supermodel). While marketing some of my projects I realized how much I liked online marketing and the scope it had and eventually had one of those "Aha!" moments (Yes, an Oprah reference, please don't stop reading yet ;)

Other info:
Personable/Social (in a non-tacky way) - Excellent and flexible inter-personal skills, great sense of humour (unless you like “Two and a Half Men” – then I got nothing)
Dependable, Resourceful and Versatile - Great with deadlines. Experienced in fast-paced environments, very quick learner, organized, comfortable in a variety of artistic and business fields.

April 2008 — Present (7 months)
I have a background in performing and I am a very good presenter, comfortable in front of an audience, can roll with the punches and have a good sense of humour. (Check out recommendations on my "Writer & Social Media Gal" section - the qualities mentioned have some overlap to
this "title")
