Forward-thinking, dedicated IT professional passionate about business, community & others
Austin, Texas Area
I consider myself motivated, professional and forward-thinking, with a solid work ethic. I like to meet and be around others who consider themselves the same, especially those that are passionate and curious about leadership, real estate and community.
Helping others and promoting the good things in life excites me, which is why I find things like volunteering and staying involved in the community very rewarding.
I do a variety of volunteer work, ranging from set-up for business events, to reading textbooks for the blind and dyslexic. I also have a unique interest in understanding taxes, so I'm leveraging this passion to be trained as a tax preparer for my local Austin Community Tax Centers. I'll do taxes for Austinites on the weekends as we get closer to tax time. Are you as excited about taxes this year as I am?
I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the non-profit Upward Bound Dollars For Scholars. It's for 1st generation college-bound high school students, which is what I was since my parents never went to college.
Of course I do have fun too. I just love to travel and have been to Europe,Central America, the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico and 32 states! I even lived on Maui for a bit in my early college days!
In Austin, I spend my time enjoying the lovely weather, the friendly people and the fact that I live in such a great place.
