Historically I've been particularly interested in game design & development, new media design and development and user experience / UI design in both of these areas as well as others.

Beyond testing our platform I’ve worked on various projects including: helping our video editor organize our collection of concept videos, creating a graphical representation of students progress via an open source graphs tool, designed selenium testing scripts to help facilitate a smoother development.

I worked on several DS games specifically focused on kids although most of my time was spent on the Possible Worlds educational research project (http://possibleworlds.edc.org/) where I designed sections of the game and then prototyped them in Game Maker/Flash.
I also helped organize & run the Games in Education conference (http://gamesineducation.org/), one idea I followed through on was to reach out to local school districts directly (the first time we had done so) and create a database of their information to easily contact them for future conferences.
