Melissa is currently the Human Resources Recruiter specializing in Talent Acquisition strategies for ITT Electronic Systems, Radar Systems - Gilfillan.
Her professional career has spanned publicly traded companies such as Callaway Golf and Kforce, as well as several years with the U.S. Navy. Additionally, she ran her own recruiting practice conducting searches at the C-level and Vice President/Director levels across all functional disciplines and industries.
At Callaway, Melissa served in an Operations Management role as Plant Manager for a start-up golf ball manufacturing facility, with management of over 100 personnel.
Her positions in the Navy included Human Resource Management related functions for both military and civilian personnel for a 1200 person command. Other HR functions included talent acquisition, strategic communications, health and welfare benefits and organizational development and training.
Prior to opening a recruiting office in early 2003, Melissa spent several years recruiting senior level executives at the Director, VP, and C levels for several start-up and fortune 500 companies.
Melissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in General Engineering curricula from the U.S. Naval Academy and designation as Certified Personnel Consultant from the National Association of Personnel Services.
