Executive Management
I have successfully led technology based organizations in a range of different positions: Consultant (government & health), Technical Leader (health care and payment systems), Area Manager (R&D and technology payment systems), Regional Director (hw/sw transactional & payment systems) and Entrepreneur (mobile internet, web 2.0 and social networking). This broad-based experience includes multiple cross-functional roles and solid results.
R&D and Technology
With strong technical background I forged my skills with good mentors since the begin. Fast learning with sharp problem solving skills I have accomplished outstanding results balancing technical & managerial skills with holistic & focused visions. I have proven ability to build & manage multidisciplinary teams and 10+ years of technical and management experience.
Joining the Engineering School at the beginning of the Web I worked with it since its early days. At the university I did several researches on the areas of high performance and distributed computing. The National Health Card Project was very challenging and rewarding, it was awarded at the JavaOne 2003 as one of the biggest Java applications in the world.
I’m always engaged on voluntary initiatives and personal entrepreneurship. PageMe was a pioneer at the mobile internet in Brazil (bubble-times) and helped me to improve my non technical skills. I worked on the Green Book of the Information Society and several e-Democracy projects in Brazil and the EU. Recently I created the BlogBlogs, a blog indexing and social network internet portal.
International and Cross-Cultural Experience
I have conducted business and participated on projects on several countries such as: EUA, India, Brazil, Latvia, Germany, UK, Spain, France, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and the Caribbean. This gave me a diverse international background, and extensive management experience. I'm fluent in English, Spanish and native Portuguese speaking.

Today it is the biggest and yet unique services on its category in Brazil and is being claimed as the blog popularity reference for the local blogosphere. This system was entirely designed and developed by my self with the emerging technology called Ruby on Rails.
