Michael Leis is the VP, Strategic Services at Emerge (formerly Publishing Dynamics). Michael's 17 years of experience across large-scale Web properties, national radio, television and print delivers Emerge clients a strategic edge in wisely choosing the interactive channels and tactics that activate audiences.
Michael helps companies like Visa, Miller, Aircell, Kraft, and Consumer Reports find innovative, integrated ways to engage the people who mean the most to their brands.
An award-winning writer, Michael is a frequent speaker on interactive marketing strategy, usability, and narrative convention. He was the keynote speaker at International Truck’s annual CRM seminar.
Prior to emerge, Michael led the online efforts of national B2B wearables distributor Bodek and Rhodes, increasing the Web's share of revenue from 8% to 40% in four years.
Before Bodek, Michael served as an officer of BankOne's WingspanBank.com, and helped start-up GSI Commerce rocket to the #2 ecommerce website, behind only Amazon (Media Metrix, Dec. 1999) with leadership in developing all online content, offline marketing, and national radio. Michael has over 15 major websites to his credit.
Michael started his career in 1991 writing, producing, and voicing a daily radio show and two national comedy pilots at Philadelphia’s WMMR - Westinghouse Broadcasting.
He's a graduate of Temple University´s School of Film and Media Arts, with a concentration in television screenwriting and production.
