Having several years of experience in each field, gives me a very broad reach of experience in the many fields that I have interacted with in my profession. I have had experience with desktop publishing, and seen a project in all steps through to the press, as well as web design, and photography. I have administered as many as 20 servers in a single location, both locally, and remotely. I have experience planning and designing server and workstation solutions, implementing them, and maintaining them. The systems I've administered range from firewalls, routers, and switches to virtual machines, dedicated SQL servers, and redundant load balanced web servers. I've handled stand-alone terminal devices, high-end workstations, shipping stations, and point of sale registers. My development experience has taken me through completely redesigning the architecture of custom website systems, migrating a company between software solutions for their critical systems, integrating separate software together in various ways so that data can be shared or combined to provide useful information, and analyzing data to report on business performance.

My goal is to maintain a broad field of experience and help businesses utilize software to both run and maintain their business in an efficient and simple way. I am a solution provider, and feel that part of providing a solution is in doing quality work that allows that solution to last and adapt. The other part I feel strongly about is to understand the goals of a solution and being able to accurately meet the goals, and exceed them allowing for better growth or flexibility.

I like pursuing photography both personally and professional which I find a relaxing diversion from my primary field of work staring at a screen, or in meetings discussing concepts.
