Michael Gallagher’s Summary

Michael Gallagher studied at the New York Film Academy at Los Angeles, intent on pursuing a career as a director. In less than five years, he has produced an impressive body of work, writing, produced and directing award winning films, music videos, stage plays and TV programming.

Helming music videos for Sha Na Na and The Pharcyde, airing on MTV and BET, Michael went on to write and direct a series of short films that won top awards at film festivals in Hollywood, Woodstock, Big Bear International, BestFest America and Cannes.

As a producer Michael has received three Telly Awards (Outstanding Producing for a Short-Form Narrative). His film, "Flattest", starring Academy-Award Nominee(R) Michael Lerner, took top awards (Grand Jury Prize & Audience Award) at the 2008 BestFest America Film Festival and was an Official Selection in the prestigious American Pavilion at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.

Most recently, Michael produced/edited/shot the popular online variety program "Mahalo Daily". In less then a year, he was able to bring his creativity and marketing strategies to the series, helping to attract over 3 million viewers per month.

Michael resides in Beverly Hills, California.
