I started my journalism career on a manual typewriter in the 80s, and grew into PCs, the Internet, videoblogging, podcasting, and Web 2.0 and social media. I'm now a player-manager at InformationWeek.com, where I'm reporting and blogging on social media, including Twitter, Facebook, and Second Life, as well as helping to lead InformationWeek's initiatives in social media and community. I'm also InformationWeek's Mac and Apple expert. Past experience includes managing InformationWeek.com, helping to launch new online tech magazines, introducing blogging to InformationWeek's publishing company, United Business Media, and more than ten years writing and reporting on enterprise computing, including companies such as Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Dell, and Hewlett-Packard.
