Commissioned and directed all sections of the magazine. Produced stories by selecting photographers, finding and securing locations, casting models, styling wardrobe and props, and art directing on set. Managed all aspects of the department, including budgets, contracts, and personnel. Participated in rebranding and redesign that focused the magazine and its photography on the modern mom. Thereafter, two versions were produced monthly, each with unique edit and photography geared specifically to the needs of parents raising toddlers v. school-age children. Photography covered all genres including: lifestyle, portraiture, reportage, photo illustration, still life, food, interiors, and fashion. While at the magazine, circulation grew from 400,000 to 2.3 million with an audience of over 10 million.
