  Back-end server management running Day Software's Communiqué C.M.S. ("CQ"), Websphere, IIS and Apache web servers, and Microsoft SQL databases, versions 2000 and 2005, for Nissan Motors' web sites. Duties include system software programming using DOS scripts, Visual Basic, Perl, and C#. Specializing in the development of software tools to automate file deployment using build sheets, automatic build sheet updating in SVN repositories to enforce deployment processes, creating scripts for automatic testing of dev and live production web server-based software, web pages, fault detection with fail-over automatic recovery and alerts. I also write Apache ANT scripts and software for the continuous building and integration of Java apps into web app servers, and testing resultant executables for breakage and blaming. Writing documentation for self-created code and the Day CQ CMS, and server hardware diagrams, server upgrades, and detailed software/content migration plans.

  E-commerce software development in Perl and PHP that ran under Redhat, BSD, VA Linux operating systems on Apache web servers, and used the MySQL 4.0+ database. The duties included installing, maintaining, securing systems, networks, and designing databases. Perl applications included search engine submission software that filled in URL submission forms and multi-page forms for submissions to directories, and software to assist web site owners in filling out HTML title and meta tags on their web pages. Created and modified Microsoft ASP software and legacy code, and I created a program, in C#, to automatically adjust PPC bids to maintain constant ad positions, for a practically unlimited number of keywords. Research and development of information retrieval and relevance algorithms and factors.
