Mike Kujawski’s Summary

Mike Kujawski is an enthusiastic marketing professional, business strategist and entrepreneur with a passion for leveraging new digital marketing technologies and trends. In 2005, Mike helped launch the Centre of Excellence for Public Sector Marketing (CEPSM), where he is now the lead Strategist. His most recent tasks at CEPSM have involved the development of comprehensive marketing strategies for the Department of National Defence, the Public Service Commission and the City of Burlington. Mike has also recently assisted in the development of a branding strategy for Canada Revenue Agency and has led the development of digital marketing strategies for Canadian Heritage, Public Safety Canada and the Canadian Public Service Agency. In addition, Mike is a passionate blogger, speaker, and workshop facilitator on the topic of social media marketing in the public and non-profit sectors. He created Canada’s first national workshop and comprehensive workbook on the benefits of using social media in a public sector setting.

Aside from CEPSM, Mike works as a part-time business professor at Heritage College, where he teaches numerous modules in the “Small Business Development” program. Mike fuels his entrepreneurial side in the event planning business and recently became part-owner of an Ottawa-based event planning company.

In the past, Mike has worked as a Consumer Marketing Officer for Canada Post, where he implemented and monitored national consumer marketing campaigns with over $1M promotional budgets. Mike also holds well over 10 years of part-time experience in desktop publishing, web programming and graphic design for various small businesses. He has done extensive world traveling throughout his life and speaks three languages. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) degree from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University, with concentrations in both Marketing and International Business, as well as a Web Designer Certificate from Algonquin College.
