Mike Kujawski is a passionate marketing strategist & social media expert interested primarily in helping public sector and non-profit organizations excel at what they do. In 2005, Mike helped launch the Centre of Excellence for Public Sector Marketing (CEPSM), where he now leads all of CEPSM’s digital marketing projects. Mike’s most recent tasks at CEPSM include the development of strategic digital marketing and social media engagement plans for Public Safety Canada, Canadian Public Service Agency, Canadian Air Transport Security Authority and Canadian Heritage. He has also recently led the development of comprehensive marketing/communications plans for the Department of National Defence, the Public Service Commission and the City of Burlington.
Mike is a distinguished blogger, engaging speaker and highly praised workshop facilitator in his field. He created Canada’s first national workshop and comprehensive workbook on how to develop a social media marketing strategy in a public sector setting. Mike also created the Government 2.0 Best Practices Wiki, which has garnered international attention as the first collaborative central archive of government social media initiatives in Canada and abroad.
In the past, Mike has worked as a part-time business professor at Heritage College, where he taught numerous modules in the “Small Business Development” program. Before that, he was a Consumer Marketing Officer for Canada Post and a teaching assistant (T.A) for senior academics in a variety of advanced business/marketing subjects. Mike also has well over 10 years of part-time experience in desktop publishing, web development and graphic design for various small businesses.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) degree from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University , with concentrations in both Marketing and International Business. Mike also holds a Web Designer Certificate from Algonquin College.

Prepared and facilitated a Marketing Workshop for the Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC).
Conducted a nation-wide perception survey of the Non-Prescription Drug Manufacturer’s Association of Canada (NDMAC) among its key senior-level stakeholders.
