Speaker bio: Mike Coop is a 20-year high-tech veteran who has held business and technical leadership positions at a number of the industry's most progressive companies, including Microsoft Corporation and Cisco Systems. An early member of the WebTV team, he is well known as the television face of WebTV. His expertise combines the connected home, content services, and wireless networking. Active in industry bodies as diverse as DLNA and the National Security Agency's Joint Wireless Working Group, he frequently speaks at sector-specific events, and is a member of the FBI’s InfraGard, IEEE, and AFCEA. He runs his own consultancy focused primarily on digital home standards and policy issues.
