Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a non-profit organization devoted to encouraging the responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC sets high standards that ensure forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible, socially beneficial, and economically viable way. FSC Website http://www.fscus.org/.

In a nutshell we can now print The FSC Logo on printed materials, giving your clientele and those you are marketing confidence that you are using paper that has been manufactured in a responsible manner.

The FSC logo goes well with Windward’s quality and craftsmanship.

I have over 25 years in the printing trade, from film stripper - to- electronic file assembly-to- prepress supervision - to - plant manager - to general manager and now I am selling printing for which I feel my background is a great advantage for my customers.

I really like working with people and have a strong sense of service in my make up.

I was the General Manager at Printex Press for just over two years.

During my two years we installed a 28" Four Color Komori, Installed Computer to Plate System with The Prinergy Front-End.

We became FSC Certified, Implemented Staccato Printing.

We more than doubled our sales and increased profitability.

What I enjoyed was branching out into sales as a General Manager and working with the sales staff.

Printex Press had some wonderful people to work with and we accomplished a lot together over the two plus years I was there.

Valco was a very fun and interesting company to work for, we had wonderful owners that helped us all grow personally and professionally.

I was responsible for taking Valco to a digital workflow and bringing digital prepress and traditional prepress together. I was able to train all of the prepress personal and keep them as vital employees.
I was also very involved with many areas of production and scheduling.

We went from an $8 Million company to $25 Million Company. Put in a digital workflow, CTP and Digital proofing became a very important Printer in Seattle with the ability to meet tight deadlines and produce quality Web and sheetfeed printing.

The people who worked together at Valco performed as a team and it was a wonderful experience.
