Miguel Cornejo Castro’s Summary

After a brief stint in banking, I've been working for a big IT group (Getronics) since 1996 in different roles and companies: management consultant, e-CRM consultant, even a spell as a Marketing Program Manager (with some strategic marketing and KM content), then senior consultant and project manager in its Iberian subsidiary. Since the sale of this subsidiary to Tecnocom, a listed Spanish IT group, I've become senior consultant and project manager for the Business Consulting unit of the group.

In parallel, I've set up a small company (Macuarium) oriented to research and consulting in KM, communities of practice and online support. We've done work for the Spanish government and others, collaborated in EU projects and events, and done a bit of publishing.

I look forward to finding ways of creating value for my companies and others (corporate or not), usually through the innovative use of technology in new processes... and I also want to keep learning and experimenting in the ways knowledge is used, transmitted and put to work in corporations and society at large.
