Mic Neumann is the founder of the influential voice-over dubbing and soundtrack producing company, Dubtitled Entertainment, which created the international television series and audio visual art assemblage titled Kung Faux seen in over 150+ countries around the world. "State of Emergency" aka ( S.O.E.) is a controversial action and adventure video game that won the prize for 'Best Video Game' at the Electronic Entertainment Expo aka ( E3 ) after being initially developed by the Scottish firm VIS Entertainment & released by Rockstar Games worldwide. All of the voice over artists for this game were cast by Dubtitled Entertainment founder creator, Mic Neumann. The "State of Emergency" aka ( S.O.E.) game has military-style violence, including political assassinations and was denounced by some Washington state politicians for its similarity to the real-life 1999 World Trade Organization riots & protests in Seattle which caused $3 million in damages. The game features a fictional 'American Trade Organization' as the antagonistic establishment and it made many media 'Top Ten Lists', including a list of the "Most Controversial Video Games of All Time".

Tommy Boy Entertainment (formally known as Tommy Boy Records) is a record label started in 1981 by Tom Silverman. The label is widely recognized for significant contribution to the development of hip hop music, dance music, and electronica.

In 2001, Tom Silverman, in collaboration with producer-director Mic Neumann and his company Dubtitled Entertainment, launched an independent television and film division known as Tommy Boy Films, LLC.
