We pioneered the baseball showcase industry.

Wing(wo)man to the President, I was involved in all aspects of the company from its inception through our successful exit. Majority of my time was spent managing customer relationships - working closely with elite athletes and their families. Also coordinated all event-day off-field operations including registration, admissions, souvenir sales, transportation, catering, equipment, personnel and sponsor relations. We showcased the top high school baseball prospects from all over the country to scouts and recruiters from all the top college programs and all Major League teams. My favorite part of the job was getting to know the players and supervising the kids whose parents could not attend. They were often nervous about doing well on the field. I enjoyed the challenge of lightening up the atmosphere and getting them to relax so they could have a good outing, exhibit their talents to the best of their ability, and advance their baseball career.

A serious personal revolt against the corporate rat race turned legitimate venture. You know you're living your passion when you can go to your studio, get lost in your work, and emerge 20 hours later, dazed, tired and hungry - but completely happy! Ok. That wasn't my daily schedule, but it happened from time to time when I became completely immersed in a project. Produced new residential and commercial installations and architectural restoration projects in addition to lamps and other three dimensional designs featured at multiple local galleries. Regrettably, lead and acids don't mix well with babies. I left the glass studio behind for parenthood. I miss it, but being a mom is even better! I am so glad I had the chance to live this passionate creative chapter.
