My professional experience is wide-ranging, both in subject matter and level of responsibility. In the last ten years I've had titles ranging from "sales associate" to "CEO" and I have worked in industries ranging from retail fashion to high-end electronics to internet advertising. I have owned and operated several different business and find that's when I am most happy with my work. I'm all for vesting tons of personal effort and experience into other people's business, but not at the expense of my family, health or personal ethics.

My goals are pretty basic - to be content with where I am and to enjoy what I do. This generally means that I spend a lot of time learning about new technology, coming up with innovative ways to apply it, then telling everyone else about what I learned.

Then I go play a video game and wonder why I never became a game developer 'cause that sure would be fun...
