Simply put -- I am a former print journalist turned freelance writer and communications consultant, having managed a freelance writing and public relations business for more than a decade. As a corporate writer, I have worked with healthcare organizations, financial services firms, biotech leaders and real estate companies. I’ve written annual reports, newsletter articles, speeches and overviews of labor negotiations. I have extensively covered the HIPAA legislation, have translated Medicare issues into understandable language and have found ways to personalize complicated financial topics.
As a communications consultant, I help my clients develop communications plans, and then execute against those plans to effectively communicate with their internal and external audiences. I have experience writing newsletters, press releases, annual reports, Web site copy, blog postings, award entries and media pitches.
