Since I was a child, it has been my ultimate desire to be the best writer I can be--to not only string words together to form cohesive, lively sentences, but to splash my vivid imagination, creative ideas, and inspiring thoughts onto blank pages. I want my readers, editors, and clients to sit back in their chairs, lay their hand on their hearts, and gasp in awe at how moving my words - words from my very soul - are.

A woman who has survived domestic violence, overcome illness, surgeries, and obesity (I've lost over 100 pounds!), I wholeheartedly wish to be an inspiration not only to other women, but to men who may have grown up in violent situations, who may have a sister or mother or daughter trapped in the never-ending cycle of abuse. Too personal to share here, in a summary? Perhaps, but I strongly feel these are the perfect words to fill in this section to give you a complete understanding of who I am, as well as my ambitions, writing style, and goals.

In short, my dream is to bring hope to the hopeless reader. And for my editors and clients, to create fresh content that keeps your readers on your website, subscribing to your magazine, buying your product, etc. The way I captivate my audience is by opening my heart, unveiling my soul, and offering words of wisdom, kindness, and friendship. I write in a personable, girl-next-door style. It's what works for me, and it will work for your readership as well.

At various jobs throughout my life, I'm the 'creative one' who was always approached to "come up with ideas for the posters, fliers, and events." It's that creativity I possess that will make you glad you chose me to write for you.
