I have 20 years of experience working in product software development. I spent many years testing software products, assuring they met customer needs. I’ve carried my customer focus through into my project management positions. I have been able to assist multi-functional teams in completing projects by removing roadblocks and getting needed resources. I have even stepped in to do product testing and write documentation. I've also provided technical support for products after they’ve been released. Most of my time as a project manager was spent working on multiple projects, up to 8 at a time.
I am well versed in the use of Word, Excel and Project. Because of my technical background and strong communications skills, I have been asked to act as a liaison between engineering and customers. My involvement with two of those customers resulted in the purchase of over $5 million worth of equipment.
I have over 10 years of international experience dealing with internal organizations, customers and vendors. I have a keen interest in product localization and translation. In one year I was able to save $100k of a $600k budget by changing the approach used on a few projects.
I'm seeking a position in product commercialization working with teams to deliver significant, customer-focused results.
I've had eight years of experience dealing with product localization dealing with vendor relationship management, cost and scheduling. I love working in this field and would love to continue my career exploring this field further.
I love working with Pert charts in MS Project and prefer them to Gantt charts.
