CEDI Sp. z o.o. is in close business relationship with my former employer, Panhydro Sp. z o.o. My duties are mostly the same as they were in Panhydro:
* preparing financial analyzes of forthcoming projects
* researching electricity market structures in Europe and in The USA
* monitoring current and expected market prices for energy, energy derivatives and green certificates in Europe and in The USA
* identifying economic and financial risks for current and future operations

This is a SaaS startup project, we are preparing to register the company. Here is a quote from our executive summary:
--
Inhibi is building an affordable yet powerful document and process management service that is delivered over the Internet, mainly to small and medium companies. We strive to provide our customers with secure tools that are available 24 hours a day from every device connected to the Internet. Our services lower management costs and bring new ways for companies and individuals to manage their operations, making documents they use and exchange secure and readily available regardless of their current location. During the first stage of development the revenue is to be obtained from regular subscription fees.
Later in the process additional income is going to be received by
providing software platform allowing other vendors to built their own applications on top of the services offered by Inhibi or created by third parties.

March 2008 — March 2009 (1 year 1 month)
Due to relatively small size of the company this position involves many responsibilities, most important of which are:
* preparing financial analyzes of forthcoming projects
* monitoring current and expected market prices for energy, energy derivatives and green certificates (this also involves reporting on market trends and financial and political changes regarding European support for renewable energy sources)
* identifying economic and financial risks for current and future operations
* exchange rates negotiations for currency transactions
(Insurance industry)
May 2007 — March 2008 (11 months)
I treat this period as an introductory phase to what I wanted to do for couple of years, namely directing my career towards economics and finance. During this time I worked for two companies, one of which was an insurance agent and the second one - a financial multiagent, serving individuals rather than companies. I got what I wanted - an opportunity to learn to work in a more client-centric way and detailed knowledge about the way most popular financial products work.
(Internet industry)
March 2007 — June 2007 (4 months)
This position revolved around a single project. Eurohost created a concept, prepared client needs analysis and graphic design for a social website for Polish community of snowboarders. It can be found on http://www.space4u.pl, although the look of the site has been transformed since Eurohost worked on it.
(Internet industry)
March 2006 — September 2006 (7 months)
I started my employment at 17mm as a web front-end developer, working with HTML, CSS and ActionScript code. My position evolved into something between project coordination and account management. It was not official, I just happened to be the spiritus movens behind many small changes like bug fixing process reorganization, version control system implementation and account management standardization.
(Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry)
June 2005 — August 2005 (3 months)
As the manager of a newly opened summer hostel my responsibility was to ensure that the facility started operating smoothly and remained this way during whole summer. My team consisted of two receptionists and our reception was opened 24/7 so I assumed the role of the third one.
This position was an exceptional experience in many aspects. First, the managerial layer was quite new for me. Second, keeping up with changing demands of almost one hundred guests speaking English with varying levels of proficiency and different accents was a very gratifying and challenging task. Third, we had to innovate as many "best practices" were still not there and we had to come up with our own. Finally, my team and I had no previous experience in this industry but this did not stop us from being one of the better performing hostels in the company.
(Computer Games industry)
July 1999 — April 2000 (10 months)
This position was more of a high school introduction to the labor market than a full-time employment. My responsibility was creating most of the visuals for a science-fiction game titled "After". At the time I used to be quite deep into computer graphics so I just started working with the development team the same moment I was proposed to do so. Unfortunately, the game was canceled. However, the experience of working long hours and meeting tight schedules or the acquired knowledge on how not to manage projects remained with me. At least I could learn on somebody's else mistakes!
Mathematics 2003 — 2004
I studied mathematics for only one year so this is not a finished degree.
Mathematics & Economics 2008
I study Mathematics & Economics through the University of London External System. This course is prepared and assessed by London School of Economics staff.
